Choice, opportunity and inclusion
The Hackney Education Post 16 annual conference provides a unique opportunity for heads of sixth forms, teachers, and individuals working in education and careers to gain insights from both education and industry experts and collaborate with like-minded peers.
Throughout the conference, a range of respected speakers will draw from their own current experiences to offer practical strategies and valuable resources that address the challenges and demands of the Post 16 landscape. The conference’s key themes have been carefully curated, incorporating national and local strategies, plans, and topics, as well as input from our highly valued Hackney Education Post 16 network meetings.
By the end of the day, participants will have:
- Explored innovative teaching and learning strategies tailored to the evolving curriculum and assessment requirements
- Heard from experienced practitioners about fostering a positive environment for post 16 students, enabling them to achieve their target grades and improve overall outcomes
- Developed a deeper understanding of post-18 pathways, equipping them with knowledge to guide students towards successful future endeavours
- Acquired practical next steps that can be readily adapted and implemented within their own school or college settings
